PUBG India awaiting govt's nod, Release could be delayed.

A longer wait for PUBG fans and gamers ahead as the game is yet to receive government's nod. Indian government is not budging from its stand and officials at PUBG Corp wants to meet and discuss regarding the same.

In June this year, Govt initially announced the ban of 59 Chinese apps including TikTok and CamScanner, later another list of 118 apps which included the popular gaming app PUBG. It was one of the most played games amongst the Indian users. With the ban of the app, PUBG Corp was swift enough to disclose the re-release of the app with an "Indian" Version. Which would not be risking or saving users data outside the country.
The teasers and other posts regarding the launch were updated on social media platforms from PUBG MOBILE INDIA's official accounts, claiming the release would be sooner, But the app is yet to receive a yes from the government of India. PUBG Mobile India has not yet been given permission to operate by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
They have also not responded to the request of meeting with PUBG CORP.

Recently, PUBG India was became a registered Indian Company in Karnataka with ownership details and address, there is yet no clarity on a fixed date regarding the launch. Users are disappointed as the date keeps on getting postponed and the suspense keeps building up.
